These terms govern your use of ctrlspace.sg. By using the site you accept them. They do not govern any project we carry out for you: that is covered by the written quotation and contract you sign, which takes precedence over anything on this website.

Prices on this site are indicative

The figures shown on the pricing page and on the homepage are indicative installed ranges, generated from a model based on property type, package and scope of works. They exist so you can judge whether a project is in the right order of magnitude before spending time with us.

They are not a quotation and they are not an offer capable of acceptance. The actual price of a project depends on device quantities, site conditions, the state of your existing wiring and network, and what you decide to include. Your itemised quotation is produced during or after the design session, and only that document is binding.

The design session

The first consultation is free and commits you to nothing. The plan and the itemised quotation produced from it are yours to keep whether or not you build with us. We ask only that they are not passed to a competing contractor to be re-priced, since the engineering work in them is ours.

Content on this site

Case studies describe real situations we have designed for. Details are changed where needed to protect client privacy, and photographs are of our own installations. Portfolio entries marked as coming soon have not yet been written up.

Text, photographs, drawings, dashboards and code on this site belong to CtrlSpace unless credited otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. You may not republish them commercially, or present our work as your own, without written permission.

Brand names and logos shown in the integrations section belong to their respective owners. Their appearance indicates that we can integrate those products. It does not imply that those companies endorse, sponsor or are affiliated with CtrlSpace.

Third-party software and links

We build on Home Assistant, which is open-source software licensed by its own authors and not by us. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Availability

We try to keep the site up and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or current at every moment. Specifications, package contents and prices may change without notice.

Limits of liability

To the extent permitted by Singapore law, CtrlSpace is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published on this website, including indicative prices, compatibility notes and technical explanations. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Work we actually carry out for you is covered by the warranty and liability terms in your signed quotation, not by this page.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
